Salute Our Troops, Downtown Raleigh Parade
Monday, April 21st, 2008The largest military parade in state history will take place in downtown Raleigh at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26. The parade will feature entry’s from every military branch including a flyover by F-15E Strike Eagles to kick things off. Paradegoers can make their own dogtags and sample barbecue from the N.C. Pork Council. There will be current military hardware on display as well as NASCAR Sprint Cup team’s show cars. The parade route is a 1.5-mile route along Fayetteville and Salisbury streets.
